About us

Miss Delaney’s Nursery School is for children between the ages 2 to 5 years. We are situated just off Holland Park Avenue. The Nursery has been purposefully designed in the west wing of a church conversion and nestles with in (and opens onto) delightful gardens. Miss Delaney’s Nursery School is the sister school of ‘Miss Delaney’s Too’ which is situated in Sirdar Road, W11 4EQ.

Our main aim in both our nursery settings is to provide a calm, secure, stimulating environment in which the children can develop at their own pace under the guidance of our N.N.E.B/NVQ/QTS/MONTESSORI and PGCE members of teaching staff.

Miss Delaney’s Nursery Schools firmly believes that the individual child’s early learning should be a happy, exciting process making that ‘first bridge’ between home and school a natural progression. With the child’s natural desire to learn and explore, we positively encourage our children to direct and develop their curiosity through creative work and play, to be kind and helpful and to learn to share and work alongside their peers in preparation for joining mainstream school at a later date.

With guidance and in partnership with parents, our children will start to gain confidence, concentration and develop a good level of early life skills tinged with a little self-discipline……..above all, our wish is for our children to enjoy their nursery experience and learning is fun!
