Our History

The nursery school was founded by Miss Frances Delaney in 1996 and was originally situated in St. James’s Church, St James’s Gardens, London W11. 

The sister school, ‘Miss Delaney’s Too’ was then opened in 2000 in St. Clement’s Church, Sirdar Road, London W11. 

After 19 years, in September 2015 we merged the two schools together and moved into a beautiful detached house that changed from residential to commercial use, Avondale Park Lodge, which is situated in Walmer Road, London W11.

As an additional learning environment, Miss Delaney’s acquired Kenley Walk Hall in 2019 to complement the existing provision. 

The running of the new school was taken over by a limited company (Miss Delaney’s Nursery Schools Limited). Mrs Lisa Murray was appointed as Head Teacher in January 2019.

Miss Delaney continues to be School Director and sole owner.
